• The Casterbridge Market is open every first Sunday of the month from 09:00 to 13:00 at Casterbridge Lifestyle Centre. This pet-friendly market offers a variety of food, vintage items and arts and crafts.

• The Creative Hub market has moved to Oewersig Community Hall and now takes place on the last Sunday of every month. The market is open from 09:00 to 13:00, and everyone is welcome.

• September 18: One of Mbombela’s most stylish and much-loved fundraising events is back. CANSA’s Night of a Thousand Stars returns to Sonpark Boulevard on Friday, September 18. Enjoy an unforgettable evening of fine food, live entertainment and community spirit, all in support of a worthy cause. This year’s theme is Let’s Twist Again, and attendees are encouraged to dress according the colourful fashion of the 60s and 70s. Tables seat either 10 or 20 guests, making the event ideal for team building, networking or celebrating together.
