Cellphone thief caught red-handed at Citybug
A woman pretending to be a customer, walked into Citybug on Friday afternoon and robbed a staff member of her phone.
MBOMBELA – A woman pretending to be a customer, walked into Citybug on Friday afternoon and robbed a staff member of her phone. According to Divergent Ops owner, Mr Jacques Meiring the woman went back to the business on Sunday afternoon and was then apprehended.
“We arrested her immediately and she was handed over to the police,“ added Meiring. Citybug owner Mr Jacques Esterhuizen said their whole premises were under surveillance cameras operating constantly. The case is still being investigated. Read the full story in the printed edition of Lowvelder.
