Thief caught on camera at local business
Hi-Tech Security response manager, Mr Callum mac Pherson, said the incident occurred at around 13:00 today.
A man walked into a business today and stole a phone off an unattended reception area in the CBD. The suspect can be seen taking the phone on CCTV footage.
He said they were about an hour behind in tracking the individual. “At this moment we have not identified him and are still searching for the suspect.”
Mac Pherson said anyone who had any information regarding this incident to please contact their office on 013-752-4470. He added that staff must not leave valuables at reception areas unattended.
