CX-3 no more in Europe as brand prepares for the unveilings of the CX-60 and CX-80.
Mazda’s recently announced product portfolio of five new SUVs from early next year won’t include a second generation CX-3.
Despite the continuation of current CX models such as the CX-5, CX-8 and CX-9, as well as the China only CX-4, Poland’s Auto Kalog this past week reported that the CX-3 would be phased out from as early as December in Europe as a likely means of making way for the all-new CX-60 and CX-80.
According to the online publication, Hiroshima’s PR Manager for Poland, Szymon Sołtysik, said in an interview that a decision had been taken to no longer bring the CX-3 to Europe in 2022.

In a further confirmation, Mazda Germany confirmed to motor1.com that it would also stop selling the CX-3 from December as it too prepares for the unveiling of the CX-60 and CX-80.
The model’s imminent departure comes on the back of it being dropped in the United States in May where its position is set to be taken by the incoming CX-50 Mazda will be building at the all-new Huntsville Plant in Alabama as part of its joint venture with Toyota.
For now though, the CX-3 remains part of Mazda South Africa’s line-up with seemingly no plans in place to drop it so far.
