Sivutsa Stars to host Thanda Royal Zulu
The match is scheduled for next Saturday, at the Kabokweni Stadium.
Having held one of Cape Town’s big guns, Vasco Da Gama, home team, Sivutsa Stars host the unpredictable Durban based side, Thanda Royal Zulu.
Scheduled for next Saturday, at the Kabokweni Stadium, the two meet for the National First Division (NFD) league first round encounter.
Kick-off is at 15:30.
Sivutsa Stars who are now mentored by new head coach, the former Mamelodi Sundowns and Bafana Bafana goalkeeper, John Tlale, will be coming to this match with an aim of collecting all three points and increase their chances to making it to the top at the end of the season.
This will however not going to be a walk in a park for the home team as they are facing a formidable side who missed out on the opportunity to participate in the national play-offs by an inch.
“We know that Thanda Royal Zulu are actually a tough and a very good side and may be difficult to beat, but we are going to use our home advantage to overcome them. We are looking to collect all three points nothing less,” said Sivutsa Stars’ PRO Charles Nkosi.
He said the team knows what’s expected of them and will surely represent the province with pride.
“I would like to invite all our supporters and soccer loving people of the region to come and rally behind the team, because after all they are doing this for the entire province,” pleaded Nkosi.
He said there are no serious injuries in the camp and look forward to dismantling the visitors.
