Drug dealer nabbed with R222k worth of drugs

The suspect is a well-known drug dealer who was under surveillance.


A man has been arrested for being in possession of cocaine, crystal meth and methcathinone to the value of R222 900, Northglen News reports.

The suspected drug dealer was nabbed by members of the Durban Flying Squad, who arrested the suspect in Waterloo. According to police, the man is a known drug dealer in the Durban North and Sibaya Casino area.

“Members kept observation on the suspect which resulted in his arrest in Waterloo for dealing in drugs. Cocaine, crystal meth and methcathinone were seized in the arrest. The estimated value of the drugs is R222 900. He is expected to appear in the Verulam Magistrates’ Court soon.
