The deceased left a note as well as money in a flower pot in his house.

A 36-year-old man hanged his seven-year-old son before he committed suicide in Dal Fouche in Springs, on the East Rand.

The murder and suicide took place on Karee Street at 9am on Sunday, Springs Advertiser reported.

“He used a rope to hang his son and himself,” said Ramphora.
