Man found brutally murdered in Croftdene

Residents were shocked when they discovered the badly beaten body of the man.

The crime scene was cordoned off by police.

A well-known man was found brutally murdered with multiple stab wounds to his body at his friend’s backyard in Umhlatuzana, KwaZulu-Natal, on Tuesday.

Residents of Tammany Avenue in Croftdene were shocked when they discovered the badly beaten body of the man, who was identified as 31-year-old Yugeshen Singh, Rising Sun Chatsworth reported.

According to Singh’s stepmother, Nazia Singh, his body had over 50 stab wounds and other injuries indicating that he was beaten, stabbed and left to die.

Detectives from the Chatsworth police have cordoned off the area, and are still at the scene of the crime.
