Fans can look forward to a day of spectacular entertainment, gourmet food trucks and bars in a laid-back outdoor setting.

Rock stalwart Ard Matthews will take to the stage for Rock on the Lawns at Carnival City on March 16, 2019.

He is just one of the performers in a supercharged lineup for the music festival that will be headlined by The Cure.

Over the course of the last 15 years, singer and songwriter Ard has been honing his craft and moving people the world over.

As the frontman of  local band Just Jinjer, his indelible lyrics and melody arrangements led the way to the incredible success of their debut album All Comes Round, which became one of the biggest selling rock genre albums of all time in South Africa, achieving double platinum status in its first year.

The band’s follow up album Something for Now reached the same status a year later.
