Haters slate Chomee’s Madiba tribute
Dancer and musician Chomee, real name Thulisile Madihlaba, has hit back at haters following some harsh criticism of her tribute song to Nelson Mandela.

Simply titled ‘Nelson Mandela’, Chomee in her no-nonsense homage to the late President sings that there is no other like him in various languages, including English and Afrikaans.
Social media was teeming with negative comments after the music video was aired on SABC1 show ‘Live Amp’ recently but Chomee isn’t letting the criticism get to her.
“People should know that we all have different ways of expressing how much we loved Mandela and I did it through that song,” she told the Daily Sun.
“Even if you wear a dress you feel comfortable in, someone will find a way to criticise it.”
Also a succesful dancer and choreographer, Chomee is known as a judge on SABC1 dance reality competition ‘Turn It Out’.
She also recently made her acting debut as Ms Chichi on popular soapie ‘Muvhango’.
