Robbers remove shack’s roof to enter, kill husband
The suspects fled with a bag of clothes.

A man was shot to death during a home robbery at Xubeni Section in Johannesburg, Tembisan reports.
Tembisa police Constable Patricia Mgijima said it was alleged the complainant was sleeping with her husband in their shack at about 2.26am.
Suddenly, they heard someone removing the corrugated zinc roof, and three suspects entered the room.

“The suspects were all armed with firearms. The complainant’s husband tried to fight them, but he was shot in the chest.
“He died on the scene. The suspects managed to take a bag full of clothes, an Alcatel cellphone and a Samsung tablet,” said Mgijima.
Police are investigating a case of house robbery and murder.
