Being a mother is something I will never take for granted. And being blessed with our fourth baby later this year is beyond our wildest dreams. Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there. To the moms who are waiting for their babies, those who are longing for theirs and who have yet to receive them. It is a surreal time to be expecting, a truly strange time to experience joy and hope when the world has changed so much. I am grateful that our little one is in a safe place and that her/ his brother and sisters are already so protective and excited. I only wish I could have my mom with me, but we’ll be together again eventually. Happy Mother’s Day to all of you incredible women who have raised strong, spirited people. The biological moms, the adoptive moms, the surrogates, the step-moms, the grandmothers, the single dads, the waiting moms, the day moms, … all of you incredible people who have sacrificed and gone through so much to give your child/ children the best you can. Those moms who are waiting for their babies via adoption or fertility treatments, those who have lost babies and miscarried. At the end of the day, motherhood is a complex blessing which we celebrate in all it’s forms. Good luck in these trying times and know that you are stronger than any virus or any trial and tribulation. Don’t ever doubt your strength. There are dark times we go through, but remember that you see the brightest stars in the darkest skies. #HappyMothersDay #MothersDay #MomsareTough #SalutingMoms #ToalltheMoms #MomistougherthanCorona #Momknowsbest @modernmommyblog #MomsofInstagram #Mother #MyMoeder #UMama #Mama #Mamma #AfricanQueen #mothercity #CapeTown #TableMountain
