A world with more equality for women is a better world for men too

Most of the future progress we need relies on women taking up spaces and leading.

On the 8th of March 2020, the world was celebrating International Women's Day. This worldwide event celebrates women’s achievements in the political, ecumenical, social and leadership spaces while calling for gender equality. This day is significant because it gives women and girls hope that things will be better in the near future. However, as a young man, I realise that the imbalances are disheartening. We need gender parity urgently. We ought to work harder to create a new and progressive world order where girls and women are treated the same way boys and men are treated. I am an uncle...
