WATCH: Mampintsha says he is not a monster

Mampintsha asks when Babes Wodumo would come to his defence because the abuse allegations are an obvious work of an enemy.

Mampintsha says he is not a “monster” following allegations that he had been physically abusive to Babes Wodumo.

In a video clip shared on social media, the record boss, Mandla “Mampintsha” Maphumulo, says he is hurt by the allegations, saying it was obvious that the publicizing of the allegations was malicious intent by a “third hand”.

In an interview on Metro FM yesterday with Babes Wodumo, DJ Masechaba Ndlovu alleged that Mampintsha had punched her in the face and broken her leg. In the interview posted on Twitter, the singer can be seen nodding as the allegations are made and breaking down in tears.

“Babes and I are okay … no couple in a relationship does not have problems,” Mampintsha says in IsiZulu in the clip below.

Mampintsha says he and Babes were confused by reports that he had punched her, and that she bled, and that she, Babes, had her leg broken because of the alleged abuse.

“I’m not a monster, she knows that as well. I love that person, I live for her,” Mampintsha says.

The Kwaito star goes on to say that the “third hand” is trying to get to him,  is “attacking” him, through Babes Wodumo.

He says that it is his wish that God would make Babes Wodumo realize that this is the work of an enemy.

“In the end, I defended Babes until now, I even sacrificed and changed my life because of her, because I love her … I just want to know when will she come to my defence because these attacks are not coming to an end but they keep increasing … and she [Babes Wodumo] knows the truth,” Mampintsha says in the clip that has been widely shared on social media.

Earlier today, Mampintsha responded to the allegations that he was physically abusive to girlfriend Babes Wodumo in a lengthy Facebook post in which he neither confirmed nor denied whether the allegations were true.
