Owner of well-known Regents Park restaurant shot dead

The owner of Lusitano Restaurant in Regents Park south of Johannesburg was shot dead on Wednesday, reports Southern Courier.

Moffat View Colonel Lesley Lloyd confirmed the incident, which he said was a robbery that resulted in the owner being fatally shot.

Moffat View Police Communications officer Captain Jeff Phora said details surrounding the incident will be provided later.
