Teen jumps out of kidnapper’s car in Roodepoort

A photo of the injured teenager was shared on social media after she jumped out of a moving car she was forced into after being robbed.

A white VW Citi Golf has been thrown into the spotlight after its occupants were allegedly involved in the attempted kidnapping of a teenager in Discovery, Roodepoort, on Monday, reports Roodepoort Record.

A photo of the injured teenager was shared on social media after she jumped out of a moving car that she was forced into earlier that day.

The teenager’s older sister said: “Guys, please be safe when you’re out walking. We nearly lost Krys, my baby sister [the victim]. She had her phone and money stolen and was pulled into a white Citi Golf by three guys. Luckily she managed to jump out of the moving car, but she was badly hurt”.

She appealed for any information about the vehicle since her sister was unable to see the registration of the car.

“If you see a suspicious white Citi Golf, please let the police know,” she said.

Roodepoort Record has approached Shannon for a more detailed report.

This is a developing story, and an update will be published once more information is available.
