A jewellery shop in the Springs Mall was targeted by robbers on Sunday, reports the Springs Advertiser.
According to information obtained, four armed suspects entered the shop and stole jewellery.
Five shots were allegedly fired outside Entrance One as the suspects fled the scene in two vehicles.
No injuries were reported so far.
Amoret D’Arrigo, marketing manager at the Springs Mall was not on the premises at the time of the robbery, but said she was on her way there to get more information and would share this later.
Capt Johannes Ramphora, spokesperson for the Springs police, did not have any additional information at the time.
