Friends hijacked while driving
In the early hours of the morning, a group of friends were hijacked and a shot was fired.
The victims were targeted early on 27 November
On Monday morning, November 27, Mandla Ngwenya alleged he was with his three friends driving a blue Mazda 3 when they were approached by hijackers, Witbank News reports.
They were driving up and down French Street in Witbank, and later on came to a stop.

Ngwenya then heard a knock on the window. When he looked to the side, he saw two unknown men at the window with a firearm.
The suspects then opened the driver’s door and put the gun to Ngwenya’s neck.
A stressed and tensed Ngwenya was told to get out of the vehicle; his friends also climbed out of the vehicle and lay on the ground.
The suspects then drove off with the car.
