Two vehicles collided and came to rest on the side of the road.

One person was killed and five others injured after a head-on collision on the M35 after Philani Mall, south of Durban, on Wednesday morning.

Ceron Lennox, spokesperson for emergency service provider Rescue Care, said paramedics arrived on the scene to find that the two vehicles had collided and had come to rest on the side of the road.

“One person, a male believed to be in his 30s, had suffered serious injuries and had unfortunately passed away before paramedics had arrived. He was declared deceased on the scene.”
