Pray for me so I become president, Hlaudi asks Mboro

Though Motsoeneng reportedly said he wanted a woman to take over as president, he also wanted to be SA's number one.

Axed SABC COO Hlaudi Motsoeneng attended pastor Paseka ‘Mboro’ Motsoeneng’s Incredible Happenings Church, in Katlehong, on the East Rand, on Sunday, and spoke about his dream of becoming a president of South Africa, also defending President Jacob Zuma.

Motsoeneng told congregants his axing from the public broadcaster was a “test” to prepare him for the greatness ahead.

“God is testing me [to see] if I can withstand troubles. To be a leader, you must be tested. I’m enjoying the test,” he was quoted as saying by The Sowetan.

Though Motsoeneng reportedly said he wanted a woman to replace Zuma, he also wanted to be president, asking congregants to pray for him.

“You should pray for me so that I become the president of South Africa,” he reportedly told the gathering.

Though people say Motsoeneng has reached his end, that may not be the case, as he reportedly told congregants his axing was the beginning of a better journey.

He also asked them to pray for public protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane, saying she was under attack following her report ordering Absa to pay more than R1.1 billion that Bankorp received as bailout.

“All people changing South Africa are under attack,” he claimed, further defending Zuma against the media propaganda around his Nkandla upgrades.

Motsoeneng reportedly said the controversy around the upgrades was a “bag of shit”, as the president had never asked for them.
