Former ANC MP Vytjie Mentor is being cross-examined by Lakela Kaunda, the legal counsel for the former advisor of former president Jacob Zuma.
The representative of Ms Kaunda, Adv Cowley will first cross examine Ms Mentor, then followed by legal counsel of Ms Mtolo. #StateCaptureInquiry

The cross-examination will be followed by that of the legal counsel of Hawks official Mandla Mtolo.
The two counsels were previously granted permission to cross-examine Mentor.
Mentor had claimed Kaunda was the person who called her in 2010 to set up her meeting with Zuma, which she alleged turned out to be one with the Gupta brothers at their Saxonwold residence, where she further claimed she was offered a ministerial position.

Cowley asks Mentor about the form of communication she had with Ms Kaunda.

Cowley refers Mentor to a statement which she says is corrupted statement.

Mentor also accused Mtolo of once telling her that a case she opened against the controversial family and Zuma would not be investigated unless she removed the former president’s name.
