#TBT: Watch Holomisa call Zuma a liar, ask if he receives adequate Cabinet briefings
Holomisa found it disturbing that Zuma denied a statement of fact contained in a ruling court ruling and recommended him to seek proper briefings from Cabinet in future.

Earlier this year, the Constitutional Court handed down a ruling the CPS/Net1 South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) grant disbursement tender was invalid. The court set aside the invalidity of the contract and gave government a month in which to initiate a new tender process.
With the man popularly known as ‘Njengele’ being in the media with the release of his biography, this week’s edition of Throwback Thursday takes a look at Bantu Holomisa suggestion to President Jacob Zuma during his quarterly parliamentary that the department of social development seek a court order to enable government to recoup money illegally deducted from pension beneficiaries.
When ANC MPs heckled Holomisa, he told Zuma to call his naughty loud rascals to order. Zuma himself told Holomisa there was no evidence that CPS/Net1 has illegally deducted pensioner’s money.
Holomisa would have none of that, telling Zuma: “Sorry tata, there is evidence that money is illegally deducted from pensioners.”
Speaker Baleka Mbete did her utmost best to bring Holomisa to follow parliamentary rules, but it appeared the UDM leader was only just getting heated. He ignored Mbete’s instruction to “hlala phansi [sit down].”
A giggling Zuma told Holomisa he can’t just impulsively seek a court order on the basis of statements made all over the country. He told Holomisa to bring irrefutable evidence in order for him to take the legal steps he was recommending.
A determined Holomisa carried on despite Mbete’s objections that he not interrupt Zuma: “Answer the question. The Constitutional Court papers said so. Why are you denying this? This Cabinet that you are chairing is not briefing you properly. Stop lying.”
