It is believed the protest are concerning service delivery issues in the region.

Protest action sees the N2 on the eastern side of Knysna, near Nekkies, closed to traffic, Knysna Plett Herald reports.
It is unclear where these protesters are from, but it is believed they are protesting for service delivery.

An emergency services team is on the scene.
Every effort will be made to reopen the road as soon as possible.
