Zuma meets with nyaope addicts in Pretoria

By Citizen Reporter

In a Facebook post on Tuesday, the presidency said that President Jacob Zuma had visited Soshanguve Block L in Pretoria “as part of the campaign against crime and building safer communities”.

The presidency said that the president had mentioned Block L in his state of the nation address (Sona) as requiring attention.

It said Zuma had met with a group of nyaope users as part of the drive against drug peddling and abuse and he also visited the local police station and shopping mall.

He was, as has become normal, flanked by State Security Minister David Mahlobo throughout.
