What Zuma would say to Redi Tlhabi, according to Mpofu

The advocate may be clapping back at the president for what he said about Malema last week.

Radio presenter Redi Tlhabi hosted her last show on Talk Radio 702 on Thursday after more than a decade at the radio station. Tlhabi has been offered a fellowship in the US, which commences in 2018.

The EFF wished Tlhabi well, calling her a “great inspiration to many young black women”.

The EFF wishes radio host Redi Tlhabi a farewell as she hosts her last show on Radio 702 today. After spending 12 years, radio in South Africa will never be the same without her voice. She has kept our public discourse captivated and helped hold all political, business, sports, religious and cultural power accountable.

She is one of the shining stars of South African talk radio, and will continue to be a great inspiration to many young black women. She gave voice to the voiceless, asked unpopular questions and provided platform to the unfashionable. We salute her as a legend of the airwaves and wish her the best in her future endeavors,” said the party in a statement.

Following the statement, EFF national chairperson Dali Mpofu took to Twitter to share what he thought President Jacob Zuma’s farewell message to Tlhabi would be.

“Msholozi farewell message to : Let’s just kiss and say Dubai,” said Mpofu.

Tlhabi saw the tweet and jokingly called Mpofu to order.

“You are wicked!” she told him.
