Police recover deceased constables’ car from Hennops River
Police have recovered a car on Thursday from the Hennops River in Centurion that three constables were travelling in when they went missing. The lifeless bodies of the three officers, along with two others, were found in the same river earlier this week.

Even Zuma was better than Trump – Malema
EFF leader Julius Malema has taken a swipe at US President Donald Trump just as he celebrates his first 100 days in office. The EFF hosted a Workers’ Day rally at the Zinniaville Sports Ground in Rustenburg, North West, on Thursday.
In his address, Malema slammed Trump for his “illiteracy”, saying even former president Jacob Zuma was better than him.

44 Ethiopian men found locked inside Sandton house
Forty-four Ethiopian men were found locked inside a Parkmore, Sandton, house on Thursday morning. It is unclear if they are illegal immigrants or if they were trafficked.

Fire under M1 highway in Joburg causes traffic disruptions and power outages (VIDEOS)
A fire beneath the M1 South in the Johannesburg CBD has disrupted traffic on the highway on Thursday.
The City of Joburg EMS said the cause of the fire will be investigated. “Once the firefighters have conducted an assessment along the M1 double-decker underground tunnel and the area is safe, the scene will be handed over to City Power to conduct their own investigation,” it said.
