According to KZN VIP the male suspects entered the store after 09.30, wearing Haweiu uniforms, when they produced firearms and held up the employees.

“An undisclosed amount of valuables were taken. The suspects fled in a white VW Polo hatchback registration unconfirmed. No injuries were reported,” said a spokesperson.

An incident report from Mzansi Secure circulating on social media indicated that the suspects instructed the store manager to open the safe where an undisclosed number of cellphones were stolen from.
