Movie of the week: The Intern

In this feel-good comedy, a 70-year-old widower, Ben Whittaker (Robert De Niro), searches for something to do with his retired life. He sees an advertisement looking for senior interns in a young vibrant e-commerce fashion company in Brooklyn founded by ambitious and energetic Jules Ostin (Anne Hathaway).
After being accepted as one of the new (old) interns at About The Fit, Ben gets assigned to none other than Jules herself. Hoping to learn something new from her, he gets horribly disappointed when he realises that she is just too busy trying to keep this fast train on the track.
With Jules having to make a very important yet difficult decision, and Ben trying to help out wherever he can, she could not help but let him slip into her heart. This movie shows the beauty of how a friendship can grow out of nothing and become something great.
With laughs throughout and an emotional yet beautiful story, Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway leave us wanting more, long after the credits have rolled.
