Potchefstroom Academy stuns with body painting show

This year’s Body Painting Show brought the theme "We Are the World" to life in Lovers’ Lane.

Potchefstroom Academy’s annual Body Painting Show once again showcased the creativity and skill of its Somatology students. The show took place in Lovers Lane at Potch Academy on September 27 at 15:00.

This year’s theme, “We Are the World,” transformed Lovers’ Lane into a vibrant outdoor gallery where spectators were invited to use their cellphones and earphones for a fully immersive experience.

Entrance to the event was free.

For the second-year students, this marked their very first time competing in the event. Each body paint took approximately three hours to complete, demonstrating not only artistic talent but also the dedication and discipline required in their field. The Body Painting Show remains a highlight on the Academy’s calendar, offering the public a glimpse into the innovative spirit of the next generation of beauty and wellness professionals.
