Two dead, one injured in shack fire
Two young girls died after their shack caught on fire in Promosa.

A 34-year-old woman and her two daughters were the victims of a shack fire this past weekend.
Colonel Adéle Myburgh reported that the incident happened on Sunday morning, the 14th of April at around 14:30.
According to Aganang FM, the incident took place in extension five, Promosa.
The 34-year-old mother was rescued after the community realised something is amiss. The two daughters, five-year-old Atlegang Madite and six-year-old Ofentse Madite unfortunately passed away in the fire. The mother was transported to Baragwanath hospital to receive treatment for serious burn-related injuries.
Col. Myburgh stated that two cases of inquest are under investigation.
There are rumours circulating within the community and on social media that the 34-year-old mother tried committing suicide, but started screaming for help. Col. Myburgh stated that the incident is under investigation and it is not possible to confirm allegations.
