Municipality warns against water interruptions

Urgent maintenance is being done at Boskop dam

The Municipality has warned residents that there is a possibility of water interruptions from Monday, 6 January,  through Wednesday 8 January.

This according to Jeanette Tshite, municipal spokesperson, is due to urgent maintenance being done by the department of water and sanitation at Boskop dam.

“It is expected that water supply will be interrupted in order for the urgent maintenance to be completed successfully. In order to prepare for any eventuality throughout the specified period, residents are consequently encouraged to gather enough water. Where water supply has been interrupted during the process, it will be restored as soon as the
maintenance work is completed,” Tshite said in a statement.
