In a letter to the Mayor, Gaba Ka Qhele, and the Municipal Manager, Sandile Tyatya, the DA urged the municipality  to quickly allocate technical teams to fix massive  sewage leaks in Ikageng, Promosa, and Mohadin.

The DA have been approached by many residents for assistance in the affected areas.
