Protest action by residents of Rockwell is currently underway and they are apparently threatening to cut off all electricity to surrounding areas.

Frans Peppes, a leader in the community, says that the residents, who have connected electricity illegally, are now threatening to cut of all power to surrounding areas if they themselves cannot have electricity.

“The residents who are actually paying their rates and taxes, now have to suffer under these circumstances. They want to cut off power at the transformer so that no one can have power.”

Authorities are not currently on scene.
