Twenty members of the Tang Soo Do Club in Potchefstroom took part in the recent World Martial Arts Games in Randburg. Despite a grueling competition, the team brought home nine gold, 17 silver and 22 bronze medals.

These ambassadors for South Africa displayed the discipline and confidence that they are trained in. Ranging in age from 6 to 62 years old, their biggest achievement is the year-long  preparation to qualify and participate against international athletes.

The 2017 World Martial Arts Games is scheduled to take place in Florida, USA. Along with the rest of the club, this team trains at the Trimpark from 17:15 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
