Puk Tawana got off to a great start yesterday (09 November) in their opening SAB league fixture when they beat Tiki Taka FC 7-1.

In front of their home crowd, the gluttonous Tawana managed to put seven goals passed Tiki Taka FC. Tawana coach Michael Seleka had the opposition’s number from the first kick.

As their name suggests Tiki Taka was expected to play a possession-heavy game and try and penetrate the Tawana defence with accurate long balls.

Seleka prepared his lads to press high so as to cut off the supply to the Tiki Taka forwards.

“In the second half we allowed them to play in our half and caught them on the counter-attack,” Seleka said.

A Great result for a relatively young squad. Mpho Mothibi, one of the junior players, scored a hat trick, while experienced forward and captain Patrick Lebitsa managed a brace. The other goals were scored by Mosa Matshego and Hllefo Senoamali.
