The North West Dragons Women made a clean sweep of victories this past weekend at home when they comfortably beat Northerns Women in the CSA Provincial One Day and T20 Competition.
North West completed a 6 wicket win in the 50 over match on Saturday at Witrand after bowling out Northerns for 242. Masabatha Klaas with (3/56) and Bianca Botha (3/42) were the chief destroyers with the ball. Lizelle Lee with 86 (79) and Tazmin Brits 103* (128) made it look easy as their brilliant innings took NW to the win.
Lizelle Lee continued her imperious form with the bat as she smashed 69 (42) in the T20 match on Sunday at Wirand to take NW to a 7 wicket win.
