A host of African teams recently visited Potchefstroom from 19-28 August for the ICC u.19 Cricket World Cup Africa Qualifier Division 2 tournament, which Nigeria ultimately won.

This past Friday, the players from Mozambique, Tanzania, Nigeria and Sierra Leone were treated to a coaching clinic and skills training excercises from the North West Dragons players and coaching staff.

North West Dragons impart knowledge to African U19 stars

It was a day of giving back and ensuring the legacy of the ICC under-19 Cricket World Cup Africa Qualifier Division Two continues long after the conclusion of the week’s action. The North West Provincial side conducted a coaching clinic for the tournament’s semi-finalists on Friday, 24 August at Senwes Park in Potchefstroom, working on basic skills while sharing various experiences of the game with the youngsters.
