The North West Dragons will look to get their CSA 3-day provincial Cup run back on track when they travel to East London to take on Border in a Pool B encounter from 22 to 24 November.

Ten wickets humbled the Dragons in their previous encounter with Gauteng but they will want to get the better of Border, which is yet to register a win in the competition.

North West is currently in fourth place in the competition after three matches and will need this win to climb up the table. They have the resources to do so with Jonty Rapulana, Lourén Steenkamp, Yassar Cook and Ruan Haasbroek in their line-up. In the bowling department, Marco Jansen, captain Brady Barends and Kevin Crowie will once again look to rattle the opposition’s cages.
Border have been struggling and are currently on the bottom of the log with one loss and a draw to their name.

The experienced Border pace bowler, Basheeru-Deen Walters could be one of the home side’s danger men, along with Clayton Bosch. Marco Marais could also be one of Border’s danger men with the bat. Marais, interestingly, also holds the record for the fastest triple century in history.
The Dragons will also face Border in a CSA Provincial One Day Match on Sunday, 25 November and will be the favourite to bag a win in the shorter format as the current defending champions of the competition.
