Success follows where Bokone FC goes

We have an inspiring u.19 group this year. Some under 15s are playing for the u.19s, so it helps with their development.”

An Ikageng-based football club is currently making waves in the community with its emphasis on quality, winning football, youth development and catchy, relevant branding.

Bokone North West FC or Bokone FC for short is undoubtedly the people’s team in the community. Since 2017, it has established quite a local following and attracted a squad of 103 talented players.
Bokone North West FC is currently playing in the SAFA Regional League in the Dr Kenneth Kaunda region in stream A. Bokone’s main aim is to win their stream and qualify for the regional playoffs this season. After eight games and a current third-place standing, optimism in the squad is still high.
“The ultimate goal would be to be promoted to the ABC Motsepe League with the first team (third division in SA football), but it is still a long road to get to that point.

This was the case this weekend when Bokone FC’s u.19 team won the North West u.19 games. A level-headed approach, combined with superb young talent, saw the team hold the cup.

“We won the local, district and regional leagues and provincial leg this past weekend too. We have an inspiring u.19 group this year. Some under 15s are playing for the u.19s, so it helps with their development.”
