The final of the 2020 Spar National Championships though did not go to plan for the Dr. Kenneth Kaunda team as they narrowly lost 44-39 against a strong Tshwane team. Tshwane were the defending champions coming into the tournament, with a large number of players also having tasted success with the Gauteng Jaguars during the Telkom Netball League this year.
