A bumper day filled with Sevens rugby action will take place at the Potchefstroom Dorp Rugbyclub this Saturday,18 September with 16 teams participating in the event.

The previous weekend, Potchefstroom Rugby Club also participated in a sevens tournament in Koster where the first team finished second overall and the second team came fifth.

The 16 teams will be divided into four pools consisting of four teams each.

The pools are as follows: Pool A: Potch Dorp 1, Lichtenburg, Sannieshof, Khuma Pool B: Ikageng, Klerksdorp 1, Orbit College, Lichtenburg Pool C: Stilfontein Hurricanes, Klerksdorp 2, Vryburg, Potch Dorp 3 Pool D: Timberwolves, Potch Dorp 2, Westonaria, Patria Manskoshuis

The matches will start at 09:00 with the cup final taking place at 16:40.

The event will not be open to spectators.
