The talented young polocrosse rider, Christopher Thornhill, recently had the honour of being selected for the SA u.14 polocrosse team for a tour to Zambia from 19 to 21 August.

Thornhill, a grade 8 learner at Volkies, will form part of a team comprising seven riders, Melanie King (manager) and Jean Hackland (head coach).

Thornhill was also chosen for the SAEF team for Western Mounted Games, which adds an extra feather to this young rider’s cap. SA will take on hosts, Zambia, in this test series and will hope to do the nation proud.
