Potchefstroom based EFC fighter, Roevan de Beer, racked up his fifth win in the EFC bantamweight division with a decisive first round victory against Martin Gcinumkhondo at EFC 95.
This MMA fight took place on Saturday, 16 July at the EFC Performance Institute in Johannesburg. The fight was a showcase of dominance for De Beer who sealed the deal with a rear naked choke to gain a submission victory 3 minutes and 41 seconds into round one.

De Beer was thrilled with his performance which he described as his most complete fight to date.
“I feel really good about my performance. My aim is to continue improving and being more dominant,” he said.
De Beer first and foremost thanked his Heavenly Father for the victory as well as his sponsors (Mosaic Funeral Group and Team Daly) and his team at Coalition Grappling Academy (CGA).
“My corner and everyone I trained against for this fight also helped tremendously in me getting the win,” he added.
