South Africa vs West Indies One Day International: This is what fans can bring into the stadium on Tuesday

Fans can bring camping, chairs, blankets and own food - no glass bottles or alcohol will be allowed to be brought into the stadium.

The highly anticipated third one day international between South Africa and West Indies on this upcoming Tuesday, 21 March at the J.B. Marks Oval will be a series decider.

The match will start at 10:00. Fans are encouraged to come early to avoid queues and to get better parking closer to the stadium.

The second ODI at Buffalo Park in East London taking place today, will see the teams clash for the first time, after Thursday’s opening match was abandoned due to rain.

Tickets for the third ODI in Potchefstroom at the J.B. Marks Oval can be brought online here at Ticketpros. 

Here is a list of items that fans can and can’t bring into the stadium:

The following is permitted into the stadium:

  • Champing chairs/Fold-up chairs.
  • Blankets
  • Gas Braaiers (only use at the designated area)
  • Own foodstuff (with plastic cutlery)
  • Soft drinks/water in plastic bottles/flasks
  • Aerosol deodorant, medication, or insect repellent only
  • Flags and banners provided that:

o            In the opinion of the Management, they are not vulgar, political, racial, discriminatory, sexual in nature,

o            Display advertising which may in any way impinge or will be in conflict with the rights of the partners/sponsors/suppliers/vendors of the event (in any language)

o            Or deemed to be offensive or impact on the view of other spectators.

o            Any sticks may not protrude more than a hands breadth below the flag.

The following is not permitted to enter the stadium:

  • Firearms, weapons, knives and imitation weapon, sharp objects
  • Hookah Pipes
  • Alcohol
  • Gazebo’s
  • Umbrellas
  • Animals (except guide dogs
  • Open fires (for braai)
  • No Glass or Glass Containers
  • Illegal drugs or narcotics
  • Fireworks & Flares
  • Telescopic Lens,Filming, Broadcasting Equipment
  • No cans (Soft drinks and Alcohol)

Carrying or wearing any other items or substances that may be deemed to be offensive, disruptive, dangerous, or likely to infringe any party’s rights or any party.
