Youngsters were once again given a platform to shine on the football fields when the annual Build It u.13 spectacular soccer tournament took place on Saturday, 6 May at Ikageng Stadium.
Potchefstroom Academy were crowned as the winners of the tournament.
Mr. Oupa “Magents” Mothibeti, who organised the tournament together with Romeo Matjila, stated that the tournament was once again a huge success with both kids and adults enjoying the display from the u.13 youngsters.
“I want to thank mr. Herman Steyn (owner of Build It Potch) as well as the Local Football Association (LFA) and the Ikageng Community for their support of the event,” mentioned Mothibedi.
Mr. Mandla Setlhare the Chairman from South African Football Association North West, mr. Pule Seleke, manager of soccer at the North West University and mr Oupa Sephakwe were also thanked for their contributions to an outstanding tournament.
