Runners revel in the rain at Berts Bricks Supa Quick Race

The men's 10 km winner was Aaron Moate of Orcas Running Academy, who finished in a time of 32:26.

The 2023 Berts Bricks Supa Quick Race started and finished at the Snowflake Building in cool and rainy conditions on Saturday, 4 November. Runners enjoyed the pleasant morning weather in 5 km and 10 km runs south of Potchefstroom. The men’s 10 km winner was Aaron Moate of Orcas Running Academy, who finished in a time of 32:26. Rico Leijenaar of Potch Track Club took second in 32:35, with Geoff Abrams of Turn To God in third place in a time of 37:23. The women’s 10 km winner was Ancy McColl, who finished in 45:57. Lisa Brink took second in 46:06, and Suzanne Mulder of Berts Bricks took third in 46:11. The first Berts Bricks athlete was Francois Botha in 37:57.
