LSEN Leopards stuns with Back-to-Back Wins

The Leopards LSEN rugby team is flying the provincial flag high with two thrilling victories, staying unbeaten ahead of their crucial clash with Boland.

The Leopards LSEN team is making their province proud at the 42nd Annual LSEN Craven Week, currently taking place in Bethal, Mpumalanga.

On Day 1, the Leopards began their campaign with an emphatic 36-10 victory over the Sharks.
Reamogetse Gaje, playing at lock, delivered a remarkable performance, dominating the rucks and open play, and scoring a hat-trick of tries. His outstanding contribution earned him the Man of the Match award.
Kamogelo Johnson showed great speed and skill, scoring two tries in the corner, while Xolane Nzeke added a further two tries to secure a confident win for the team.

On Day 2, the Leopards faced a strong Griffons side from the Northern Free State in what turned out to be a physical and competitive encounter. The match saw both teams exchange tries throughout, but the Leopards maintained composure to achieve a 50-40 victory.
Hansie Visser, playing at scrumhalf, impressed with his game management, scoring a crucial try and effectively marshalling his forwards and backs, earning him the Man of the Match recognition.
Xolane Nzeke continued his impressive form, scoring two additional tries for the Leopards.

Hansie Visser was named man of the match against the Griffons.

The Leopards are set to face Boland today, July 1 in a match that will be critical for the team’s standings in this year’s tournament. The Leopards remain one of only three undefeated teams at the Craven Week so far, alongside Eastern Cape and Western Province.
