Four of the North-West Dragons players are currently competing the SA20 tournament across the country for their respective franchises. Dragons captain, Wihan Lubbe, has been the most consistent performer scoring a half-century for the Pretoria Capitals against MI Cape Town. Lubbe showed his talent with a solid 60 that put the Capitals in a winning position at Newlands.

The other Dragons who are in action in the SA20 cricketing carnival include, Dian Forrester (Joburg Super Kings), Meeka-eel Prince (Pretoria Capitals) and Rubin Hermann (Paarl Royals).
Forrester is yet to show his ability in five starts for the high-flying Joburg franchise, having had limited ability with the bat lower down the order. Prince is yet to start a game for the Capitals whilst Hermann, will want to start firing for the Royals after struggling in his first few innings with a top score of 18.
Hermann had a breakout season last year for the Paarl Royals that caught the attention of the Proteas selectors. His good form eventually lead to a call up to the national side.
The SA20 tournament will conclude on 25 January with the final taking place at Newlands in Cape Town.
