Potchefstroomers can prepare themselves for a feast of international cricket under lights as the Proteas Women are back in action at the JB Marks Oval on Tuesday, 10 February.
This will the first T20 international that forms part of an exciting three-match T20 international series against Pakistan.
The Proteas Women are packed with world-class talent, including star captain Laura
Wolvaardt, Tazmin Brits, Marizanne Kapp, and Suné Luus, among many others. Dané van Niekerk also returns to the fold after a long hiatus from the national setup.
While Pakistan will be a tough challenge, the Proteas enter the series with confidence.
According to Proteas Women’s Head Coach Mandla Mashimbyi, the South African women’s team is a force inworld cricket, especially pointing to their performances at recent World Cups.
“The biggest thing is to create an environment where winning becomes
a habit,” said Mashimbyi.
The match is scheduled to start at 18:00.
