The Potch Track Club middle-distance athlete, Danielle Verster, posted two personal best times in the 1500 and 3000m this past week in Europe.
Verster, a former Potchefstroom Gimnasium learner, is in cracking form and reached her personal best in the 3000m on June 13, before following up with a new personal record in the 1500m on June 17.
She won the 3000m race in a time of 8:56.87 at the British Milers Club Grand Prix in Loughborough and the 1500m race in 4:12.27 at the International Meeting of Montreuil in Paris.

2026 has been a fantastic year for the 22-year-old who also reached her personal best in the 5000m in April this year during the SA Championships. She posted a time of 16:25.24.
